New Director of People Services strengthens the Precious team

Social Care provider Precious has announced the appointment of Allison Long, who joins the business as Director of People Services. 

With 30 years of experience across a number of sectors, including social care, Allison’s passion and expertise lie in defining and delivering human resource strategies that attract, engage, motivate, reward, develop, and retain talented people. Allison’s hands-on, pragmatic, and results-driven approach has seen her drive and deliver values-based cultural change, high levels of employee engagement, increased productivity, competitive pay and employee benefits solutions, and improved employee retention. 

An experienced senior team, with a vision for the future 

Allison’s appointment comes at a time of change for the business. In October 2022, Rory Passmore joined the team as CEO. Rory now leads a team of very experienced care sector professionals – including Becs Gratton as Commercial Director, Mark Penney as Managing Director – Operations, Victoria Pilkington as Clinical, Quality, and Governance Director, and Emma Eckersley as CFO. Allison’s appointment will allow the business to focus on culture, recruitment and retention, which will further enhance the delivery of quality care to the people supported at Precious.
