Governance at Precious

Put simply, governance is the process that we use to ensure good service delivery and good outcomes for the people we support. At Precious, we believe that every staff member has responsibility for providing good quality care.

We encourage all team members to take pride in what they do. We empower all Precious people to continually improve practice achieve better outcomes for the people that we support. We recognise that to achieve this, there must be shared ownership and accountability at every level within the organisation.

Management governance for each service is through the Registered Manager, who reports to the Operations Manager, who in turn reports to the area MD and CEO.

There is a monthly operational leadership team meeting chaired by the MD and attended by the Operational Managers and the Clinical Director. These meetings are used to review our performance and share experiences across the organisation, ensuring we learn from challenges and share best practices.

Our senior team share the view that people are our key asset and that having a happy, engaged, and respected team will ensure that we can attract and retain the best people. This, combined with a keen focus on quality, will inevitably help us to deliver the best care that enriches people's lives and supports them to achieve their goals.”
