Full Time Day Support Worker
Maisemore, Gloucester £11.55 per hour 
Day Shift: 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm & requires working weekends
  
If you have previous experience as a support worker, healthcare assistant, care worker, domiciliary and home care, or in residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If you do not have experience that is no problem as you will have full training, guidance and support.

About the service
We currently provide support adults in a supported living setting. Individuals that are supported at the service may be autistic or have a diagnosis of learning disability, some individuals can display challenging behaviour. Everyone is an individual & is supported in a person centred way & no day is the same.

Support Worker duties:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments 
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
