Job title: Day Support Worker
Location: Sutton Coldfield 
Salary: £11.55 Per hour
Contract: 
Permanent 37.5 hours per week NOT OPEN TO SPONSORSHIP 
Essential: 12 months CQC/Ofsted care/support experience
Shifts: 
Day shifts 7.30am & 3pm 2.30-10pm including weekend work.

Service
Vermont House is a bespoke Residential Service designed to support up to six autistic adults, or those with learning disabilities and associated needs, to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead a more independent life.

Support Worker duties:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments 
  • Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence 
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
