Mental Health Needs

Our Mental Health Services incorporate the ‘No health without Mental Health’ cross government strategy.

We operates a risk management and prevention of relapse model of support. The establishment of a supportive therapeutic relationship with each service user is seen as an essential component to the development of new coping strategies and a positive sense of self.

In order to support these therapeutic programmes, staff to service user ratios are high. This level of staffing also facilitates community access, as indicated by individualised care plans and risk assessments.
