    Tailored Design

Elderberry Mews consists of 6 spacious one and two bedroom flats set across the ground and first floor, alongside access to the communal living room and garden. Each flat contains a bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room/dining space and kitchen.

    Community integration

Elderberry Mews is located on the Kings Road near to Boldmere and is part of a vibrant and diverse community in between Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham. With excellent transport links and a team with extensive knowledge of the local area, individuals are supported to access an array of community facilities including sport facilities, social groups, health services, local shops and restaurants.

    L’Uccello Café – Social Enterprise

Individuals supported will have access to our L’Uccello Café – a catering social enterprise service in Kings Heath. In addition, we have developed a Skills Centre with horticulture poly-tunnels and a range of workshops to promote and increase skills. Collectively, this will provide opportunities for people to gain meaningful qualifications.

L’Uccello Café and our linked Skills Centre will be utilised by the people living across our new services, as well as other people who require support locally. Working closely with our local community and college partners, we aim for L’Ucello Café to support and benefit the surrounding community as much as the individuals we support.

    Our Multi-Disciplinary Team

Our in-house Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) can provide therapeutic and behavioural input on top of a person’s support as an additional resource once agreed individually and/or with the funding authority.

Input can range from clinical consultation; rehabilitative support for someone in crisis; support for complex assessments and transitions; resolving and reducing emotional and behavioural issues through positive behaviour support approaches; observing, training and mentoring support teams; right through to simply being on hand to give extra advice and guidance to our support teams.

Our specialised and highly qualified MDT includes a Clinical Director, Psychology, Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech and Language Therapy (SALT). Our MDT work in conjunction with our support teams as well as internal Training, Quality and Risk Management and Operational Teams. We also work closely alongside external partners including Behavioural Specialists, Psychiatry, dieticians and fitness experts.

We work in partnership with local colleges in Birmingham to ensure that our services are responsive to the needs of young people and adults and are developed in line with educational and skills requirements – Director of Operations
