Precious Homes shortlisted for a host of prestigious awards
11 Oct 2019
Rumour has it that August was Happiness Happens Month – a whole month dedicated to celebrating what makes you happy! For the team at Precious Homes, the end of August and the start of September undoubtedly raised a few smiles, with news that our fantastic team had reached the finals for several awards from three different industry bodies.
Finalists for FOUR LaingBussion Awards
Often known as the Oscars of health and social care, the high-profile LaingBuisson Awards recognise and celebrate industry excellence.
We were thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Supported Living, Management Excellence, Specialist Care and Healthcare Outcomes categories.
Greg Lapham, CEO at Precious Homes, commented:
“I am absolutely delighted with the dedication and hard work of all of our teams. Being named as finalists of these prestigious awards is brilliant recognition of their tireless dedication and hard work in delivering person-centred support. The true definition of quality is doing it when nobody is watching. Keep up the great work team Precious!”
Making it through to the final is an absolutely fantastic achievement, putting us among the very best that the industry has to offer.
This year’s award ceremony will be held on the 13th November.
Investors in People Award Finalists
At Precious Homes, people have always been at the very heart of everything we do, from the person-centred approach for the people we support, to the value we place on our amazing team. For that reason, we’re very proud to have been named as finalists for the Leader of the Year and Outstanding Use of Technology at the Investors In People Awards.
The finalist for the Leader of the Year Award is our very own Greg Lapham – who took on the role of CEO at the end of last year and has done a fantastic job of spearheading the business and motivating teams to be the best they can be.
The Use of Technology award focuses on the roll-out of Nourish, which was intended to improve the quality and consistency of the care we offer and to make record-keeping easier for our support teams.
Becki Davis-Coxsell, COO at Precious Homes, explains:
“It is great to see the difference that the Nourish platform is making and we’re proud to be named as finalists for the technology award. As for Greg being shortlisted… what can I say?! Greg’s positive attitude radiates across our teams. He takes a very hands-on and supportive approach and is visible within the operational team; regularly visiting services, getting to know and understand the needs of the people being supported and proactively encouraging our team members to strive for excellence in their day to day work. We’re absolutely thrilled that he has been shortlisted.”
Great British Care Award Finalists Named
