March’s Employee of the Month
29 Mar 2016
Szilvia, who stepped up to the role as acting Team Leader in October 2015, has done a fantastic job managing a staff team that had been employed by a different organisation.
Throughout her time there she has experienced many different and often difficult challenges and this required Szilivia to make some changes within the project, in particular to the staff rota, that would improve the quality of life for the service user’s ensuring that that all support provided was person-centred.
This January she also successfully supported the deployment of staff to another PHL project after the staffing needs changed as some service users moved to their new home.
A real credit to the company, Szilvia is continuing her professional development, and has recently agreed to support Lisa Galloway at Roman house in Milton Keynes as the Interim Acting Manager.
Director of Operations, Simon Griffiths, praised Szilvi’s positive attitude and ability to face challenging situations.
“I am delighted with the attitude that Szilvi has adopted. She has taken the plunge and jumped out of her comfort zone, developed and now showing strong leadership skills. I am so impressed by her “Can Do” attitude that should be an example to us all.”
Glen Randall, Registered Manager at Third Avenue congratulated Szilvi on her award.
“Szilvi has not only grown on a personal level but also on a professional level and is a great credit to Precious Homes and I look forward to seeing her professional development grow within the organisation. She constantly strives to promote the ethos and values of Precious Homes, well done Szilvi!”
Director of Operations, Simon Griffiths, also thanked the other nominees for the month.
“Well done and thank you to Hawah Lubega at Burghley Road and Vivienne Fortella at Lausanne Road. You are both a credit to your manager and thanks for your hard work and commitment.
“Thank you to all our staff across all our services. Your continued efforts and positive attitude towards team work and the provision of person-centred support make a huge difference to the people we support, furthering their independence and changing their lives.”
