24 Mar 2020
We’re very pleased to report that Autus Court has had some great feedback from its latest CQC inspection, which took place in January 2020.
With ‘good’ ratings for being safe, effective, caring and well lead, the report stated, “People’s diversity and individuality was celebrated and people worked with a consistent staff group that they could form caring relationships with. Staff were caring and friendly and supported people with kindness and compassion. Staff had an empowering attitude to support people’s personal development, and each person was supported in a way that was individual to them. People made great progress whilst they used the service and people were encouraged to achieve their goals.”
The service was also rated ‘outstanding’ for responsiveness, which covers the ability to meet the needs of individuals and ensure flexibility, choice and continuity of care. The report particularly focused on the planning of personalised care and ability to adapt quickly to people’s changing needs, the trusting relationships between staff and the people they support, the celebration of successes and the collaborative relationship with relatives and external services to deliver care and support.
Mitesh Dhanak, Founder of Precious Homes, commented “The team at Autus Court have done a wonderful job and I am very proud of the fact that they’ve received recognition from CQC. Thank you all very much indeed.”
A huge well done to the team for doing such a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!
